Some New Local Business Sponsors

As more and more people are joining the SoCalWSA in support of opening a new San Diego lake, we have been gaining some strong support from local businesses.  I would like to thank all of the businesses in San Diego that support our local watersports community, and the SoCalWSA.

DBG Concepts is a custom wakeboard tower mfg based in Poway.  They have built towers on half the boats you see out at the lake, river, or bay any given weekend, and are known for their quality products and excellent customer service.

Wakesports Unlimited is everyones source for water sports gear.  It’s the first stop in town when anyone needs to pick up a new board, rope, or try any new gear.  They have a couple locations in San Diego, Carlsbad, and a new one up in Orange County.

Hipp Marine is San Diego’s local boat dealership.  They carry a wide variety of brands, excellent, personal customer service that you don’t get at the larger corporate dealerships, and have something for everyone whether you fish, wakeboard, ski, or just like to cruise with your family.

WakeboardSD.net is San Diego’s wakeboarding community.  With an active community of nearly 100 members and growing every day, its a strong group of watersports enthusiasts who are determined to have somewhere to ride by next summer!

Redline Designworks is my website/graphic design company.  I do all this work in my spare time, and have dedicated my support to finding a place for us to ride!

If you want your business name listed on here as a sponsor, just email us through the contact form and we will add you.  Nothing else is required other than knowing we have the support of you and your business!

The SoCalWSA Website is Live

Welcome and thanks for visiting the SoCalWSA website.  We exist to unite San Diego and Southern California boaters who enjoy water sports.  Our main purpose is to unite people in the supporting the initiative to open an alternative reservoir in San Diego since the closing of San Vicente in September of 2008.  With San Vicente closed for the next 10 years, we need a place to continue water contact activities.

This website is a resource for information about how we are going to convince the city to open an alternative site.  Subscribe to our mailing list if you want to be updated, and have your name included on the list of people we will bring to the city in support of our initiative.

Thanks for joining!
